Jason and Melissa love Granisle for the beautiful and isolated location as well as the people. "The people are real, down to earth people," said Melissa. Granisle is a rugged spot that is off the beaten track and full of handy and skilled people. The community members are interesting with great stories to tell about the history of Granisle. Melissa enjoys listening to the old timers, taking advantage of the great outdoor recreation opportunities with her family . Jason is a Director at the local Rod and Gun Club and appreciates the abundance of wildlife in the area as well as the many trails and back roads to explore.
Jason and Melissa Robertson love how the location allows them to feel "a million miles away from everything". Jason, Melissa and their two young children all love to enjoy the great outdoors and think that the massive Babine Lake is simply beautiful. "The lake is spectacular," said Melissa. The Robertson family enjoys boating to the various bays in the summer and ice fishing and skating in the winter. The Robertson family lives in Telkwa and gets out to their other home in Granisle on weekends and holidays to spend quality time with their familiy. "It's a great spot," said Melissa, "we are out to Granisle as often as we can."
